Police have revealed the address of a Southall brothel discovered on Wednesday (February 24) and said it has been open for months.

Metropolitan Police posted a picture on Twitter of a residential home which it revealed contained a brothel .

Officers did not initially name the address, but told getwestlondon on Thursday (February 25) that it was located on Lea Road.

A spokesperson added that police believe the brothel, a residential house, was operating for "a number of months".

He added that the discovery came after numerous complaints linking to crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour.

Officers raided the premises after police were granted a three month closure order at Ealing Magistrates' Court.

No arrests have been made and it is not yet known if any sex workers were rescued.
