Zoorassic Park: Life-sized dinosaurs to take over London Zoo

Life sized versions of childrens' favourite dinosaurs will be part of the exciting trail

Colossal dinosaurs will descend on London Zoo in July.

Visitors to the Zoo will be taken back in time to a prehistoric world where they will come face-to-face with life-size, moving dinosaurs.

From the giant but gentle brachiosaurus to the towering tyrannosaurus rex, the dinosaurs will roar at those brave enough to approach.

Zoorassic Park will launch on Saturday 22 July, with popular CBeebies presenter Andy Day and will be at London Zoo for six weeks.

Visitors will take a trip via a time machine to the Mesozoic era, where tour guides will help visitors spot dino-faves.

See the triceratops, standing guard over its nest, or encounter the armour-plated edmontonia - a tank-like dinosaur covered in spikes.

Families will be given their own passports for the time travel safari and will learn all about the creatures as well as learning all about the work conservationists are doing to help prevent today’s animals from becoming extinct.

There will be a fun trail for kids to complete, fossil digs to explore and baby dinosaurs to meet.
