Adventurers who enjoy their holidays away from the tourism trail and off the beaten track should head to Olympia London this weekend.

The Adventure Travel Show takes place at the West Kensington venue on Saturday and Sunday (Jane 17 and 18). As well as hosting over 100 stalls and exhibitors offering incredible journeys around the globe, one of the planet’s most famous explorers will also be attending and answering questions about his achievements.

Sir Ranulph Fiennes, who is listed in The Guinness Book of World Records as ‘the world’s greatest living explorer’ will open the show and give a talk afterwards. He will be joined by during the weekend by other famous daredevils, including BBC presenter Monty Halls, pioneering mountaineer Doug Scott, motorcycle adventurer Lois Pryce and many more.

Seminars on activities ranging from photography, writing, filming and adventure planning will also take place during the two-day exhibition.
