Transport for London is hosting its Autumn Ambles weekend on September 27 and 28, with 40 free-guided walks across London.
There will be a seven mile walk, in West London, from Gunnersbury Underground Station to Osterley Underground station, with the option of dropping out by the Uxbridge Road.
Walkers will stroll alongside the Thames Path before turning to the Grand Union Canal at Brentford, to the Fox Inn in Hanwell, for a picnic lunch by the canal.
The walk will then continue through Long Wood and finishes at Osterley House, which is part of the National Trust.
The four-and-a-half hour walk starts at 10am on September 27.
An easy and mostly level walk with a few stairs, but not advisable for those with buggies or wheelchairs.
