TripAdvisor has compiled a list of the top nightlife spots across the capital - based on their customer reviews - so here's the top 10 in our area:

The Ginstitute

A recreation of a Victorian gin palace, a special instructor shows you the history of gin in a guided tour, and a tasting in which you can create your own bespoke gin flavour to keep! The perfect place for gin lovers, and huge value for money.

One TripAdvisor reviewer said: “You walk away with two bottles of gin, a small tonic water, and the inability to drive until the next day! Over the three hours you spend with the Ginstitute you are given a very informative history of the subject, coupled with copious G&Ts, followed by a blending session where you create your own.”

One TripAdvisor reviewer said: “If you could suddenly walk inside an old Marshal amp, playing on stage, this is what it would look (and sound) like. A small, wooden place that stinks of spent beer and rocks with excellent blues being played all night. What else could you ask for?”
