Thorpe Park has opened a new ride this summer called Derren Brown's Ghost Train, designed by the famous performer.

The white-knuckle ride, described as The Journey of Terror, has 12 possible scenarios with two different endings, and will join a host of other fast and thrilling rides and rollercoasters at the theme park.

By car

From the M25, take junctions 11 or 13 and follow A320 to Thorpe Park.

Parking charges are £5 per car

By train

Regular South West Trains services run from London Waterloo direct to Staines. Trains run every 30 minutes with a journey time of 46 minutes, and a less frequent service running on Sundays.

Staines can also be reached directly via Reading, Weybridge and Windsor and Eton Riverside, every 30 minutes.

By bus

Staines bus station is a five-minute walk from the railway station. Buses to Thorpe Park depart from Stand 2, however the 950 Thorpe Park Express departs directly from the railway station running every 15 to 20 minutes.

Direct bus services also available from Addlestone, Chertsey, Staines and Woking.

Each ride has its own height restrictions ranging from 0.9m to 1.4m minimum.
