There's no need to travel to a galaxy, far, far away to get up close with some of television and film's biggest stars.

Fan favourites from the likes of Star Wars , Game of Thrones and Doctor Who have been announced for this year's MCM London Comic Con.

The headline guest for this year's event - which runs from Saturday (May 27) to Sunday (May 28) - is Donnie Yen, who recently appeared on the big screen as blind warrior, Chirrut Îmwe in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

He won't be the only special guest from out of space, as other actors from the franchise will be based in the memorabilia area at the event, including Guy Henry (also starred in Harry Potter), who followed in Peter Cushing's footsteps to play Governor Tarkin.

Plus, Warwick Davis will be a guest following his cameo as Jedha partisan Weeteef Cyu-Bee in the film, after roles in The Force Awakens, The Phantom Menace and Return of the Jedi.

If your preferred method of transport is a TARDIS rather than the Death Star, you'll be pleased to hear that writer and comedian Catherine Tate - who plays Doctor Who's side kick, Donna Noble - joins the line up as a guest.

Fellow Doctor Who star Billie Piper, who played Rose Tyler, will also be a guest during the weekend.

L-R: Catherine Tate, Verne Troyer, Billie Piper and Keith Allen will all be guests during the weekend

Other stars appearing include Keith Allen, Verne Troyer and Game of Thrones' Eugene Simon, who is most famous for his role as Ser Lancel Lannister in the hit HBO series.
