Singer-songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor, from Chiswick, paints the perfect picture for Dulux's new campaign.
The stunning mum-of-three, who grew up in west London, dazzles as the face of the 2015 Colour of the Year, 'Copper Blush', in a photo shoot and film which shows her waking as dawn breaks in a romantic boudoir surrounded by warm pastel shades.
The model and Strictly Come Dancing starlet, who is heading back to the studio to record her sixth album, said: “Style is incredibly important to my everyday life and although people regularly comment on my vintage fashion tastes, it was really great to be part of such a lovely contemporary shoot with Dulux."
She added: "Copper really is everywhere at the moment and totally on trend so it’s no surprise that ‘Copper Blush’ is this year’s Colour of the Year.
"The shade is full of warmth and it was a real pleasure to wake up in such a lovely bedroom.”
The film begins with Sophie soaked in last year’s colour of the year, teal, before she wakes in a nightgown and begins walking around her bedroom. And as sunlight seeps through her curtains, the copper light comes to life and Sophie welcomes a new day and a new dawn.
