Every Londoner know the best Christmas lights can be found on Regent Street.

The Queen's shopping arcade will host its annual Christamas lights switch-on event on Thursday (November 16) with special guests and late-night shopping.

Chart-toppers Paloma Faith and Clean Bandit and double-act Michael Ball and Alfie Boe will joining Heart FM's Emma Bunton and Jamie Theakston to switch-on the lights from 5.30pm.

As if that wasn't enough, the road will be closed from 4pm to 9pm and a special late night shopping event will be held.

Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, lululemon, Karl Lagerfeld, Bentley's Oyster Bar and Sakagura are among the 74 stores, bars and restaurants taking part.

As the high end shopping destination gears up for Christmas 207, the theme will be a hark back to the first time Regent Street was lit up for Christmas, in 1954.

The largest lights installation in the capital, with more than 300,000 twinkling LEDs will celebrate "The Spirit of Christmas", reimagined with new colours and additional touches.
