A spokeswoman for Oxjam said: "It is going to be a whole day event of family activities such as raffles, quizzes, music games, all accompanied by some wonderful acoustic music from local acts.

"The highlight of the day will be an evening performance by our to be announced surprise special guest, which will take place in the beautiful art deco atmosphere of The Boston Room at The George IV."

There will be free entry all day and night for front of pub; entry for the evening performance in The Boston Room at George IV is £7 on the door.
