Notting Hill Carnival weather forecast: Temperatures to hit 26C over Bank Holiday weekend

Revellers are hoping for Carribbean-style weather to add to the celebrations

The Notting Hill Carnival returns this August Bank Holiday for a weekend of Caribbean celebrations.

The carnival will have nearly 40 sound systems, a famous parade and dozens of delicious food stalls over the three-day break.

Revellers will be hoping for Caribbean-style weather to add to the party atmosphere, and it looks like we're in luck.

According to the Met Office, temperatures are forecast to peak at 26C after a band of high pressure air sweeps across the south east.
