The annual celebration at RAF Northolt is back this Saturday, July 22 with thousands of locals getting a glimpse at the air base.
An estimated 7,500 people will attend the community event, only open to residents in Hillingdon, Harrow and Ealing.
Tickets have sold out but additional security measures mean getting to Norfest will be slightly different this year.
What's happening?
Running from 9.30am to around 4pm, there will be a static military aircraft displays, food court and children's entertainment.
In the performance area, The Queen’s Colour Squadron, RAF Regiment and Band of the RAF Regiment will entertain the local community.
A number of non-military groups will also be performing.
These include BMX stunt bike group Savage Skills, local cheerleader group The Babettes, Jay Kumar Bollywood Dancers and children’s entertainer Epico the Dragon.
More than 90 stalls will display the best of the local community from vintage cars and arts and crafts to sports teams.
To top the evening off, a Dakota aircraft from the Royal Air Force’s Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will perform a fly-past.
Security Measures
On advice of Metropolitan Police , parking at the site has been suspended.
All attendees are requested to come to the airbase using public transport or by walking or cycling.
The nearest underground station is South Ruislip.
Ruislip Gaelic Football Club's car park will be used as a safe drop-off and pick-up zone, and the airbase has notified TfL that extra E7 buses may be required.
There is limited parking for blue badge holders only, who can enter through Crash Gate 3 off Glebe Avenue.
Visitors will also have to agree to personal searches and full bag searches to ensure the event runs smoothly.
No animals, glass objects or knives will be permitted and gates will open from 9.30am to account for the extra measures.
