It's official, Made in Chelsea is returning to our TV screens to make it a dozen series worth of gossip, 'hooking up' and more than a few fallings out.

It may feel like the colourful characters have only just stopped dominating our TV screens on Monday nights, but E4 has announced the next mini-series will begin on August 1 at 9pm.

Whether you love it or hate it, the show always gets tongues wagging - among both the characters and the viewers - so even if you don't know your Tiffs from your Toffs, you're sure to be hearing a lot about the goings on in one of London's wealthiest areas.

Speaking of Tiff and Toff, Series 11 ended with these two in the middle of a spat over a text that suggested Sam was back to his old ways on a night out.

Toff texted Tiff about Sam, Tiff felt uncomfortable, Toff denied trying to stir up trouble, now Tiff is annoyed at Toff and Toff is annoyed at Tiff for being annoyed. Follow?

JP and Binky will no doubt have much more to talk about following their up and down relationship that ended with them splitting, as JP told Binks to 'work on herself'.

This caused upset among the girls who confronted JP in the The Aftermath episode that brought Series 11 to a close, and it all ended on a bit of a sour note. Watch this space for attempts to rekindle the romance being condemned left right and centre.

Meanwhile, here's a glimpse into how the girls have been passing time before the next series

And finally, to the biggest fallout of all. We surely haven't heard the last of Steph and Lucy's disagreements, which culminated in one of the most awkward moments of the last series as they sat side by side to speak to Aftermath host Rick Edwards about which one had caused all the arguing.

Just as Lucy seemed to be softening and uttered the word "sorry" to Steph late in the series, the pair could only end up agreeing on one thing - that they shouldn't be friends.

Steph has now said at least once that she doesn't want to reconcile the friendship, but we bet they might give it a one more go in the next series
