The Food Stop W5 trucks have rolled back into Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre, serving up a feast of street food to hungry customers this spring.

Inspired by Ealing's community spirit, organiser Eat Me Drink Me's Kate McKenzie decided to offer more lunch choices by inviting different street food vendors every Friday and Saturday into the shopping centre's newly refurbished Town Square.

Ealing resident Kate said: "People have been excited about the idea and our market should complement what The Queen of Suburbs has to offer."

"We are delighted to have brought the food trucks back after a short break for the refurbishment of the shopping centre. This time we are feeding not only Friday workers but also Saturday shoppers."

Colourful vintage trucks from some of London's biggest street food names stationed in the middle of the Broadway Centre tempt shoppers, families, students and workers in the town with varied menus and an animated lunch experience.

Hao Chii's director, Mohsin Nadeem, drove his food truck from east London to provide Asian cuisine.

He said: "Street markets turn simple lunch into an adventure, and the success we had last year brought us back here."

Dedicated carnivores can try slow-roasted meats served at Pull's truck or Boca Face's Spanish specialities.

Coffee Traveller takes enthusiasts on a journey thorough the coffee lands offering seasonal selections of beans.

Owner Becks Vanstone said: "It's not just about serving coffee but creating a special place for people to explore it. We run a small cafe in Ealing and hope the street market will help get our name out there."

Food Stop W5, which is supported by the shopping centre, will run throughout March and April and more traders are being invited to join in the feast with their creative menus.
