As well as the tens of thousands of fundraisers and amateurs taking on this year's London Marathon, will also be a handful of some of the world's top long-distance runners.

Along with last year's winner and former world-record holder Wilson Kipsang, Paula Radcliffe will be running the 26.2-mile course around the capital once more.

And in the elite wheelchair race, Paralympic champion David Weir is one to look out for. A four-time gold medalist, Weir was dubbed The Weirwolf at the London 2012 Paralympics due to his speed.

Whoever you're supporting, the elite marathon race is worth a watch, as it looks to be incredibly close this year!

Paula Radcliffe said: "The London Marathon means so much to me.

"I've grown up with it, watched it for so many years, and have really special memories from 2002, 2003 and 2005.

"I never thought I would be back here, so it’s really special and emotional that I've got a chance to do it again."
