With Christmas just around the corner, Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland has announced the four new shows which will be taking to its stages during the festive period.

The attraction is the UK's number one Christmas destination and attracts millions of visitors each year during the six weeks it runs for.

A spokesman for the festive event confirmed Cinderella on Ice and Zippos Christmas Circus presents Lights, Camera, Action are two of the shows set for this year.

They will be joining Cirque Berserk - 'Rebellion' and The Sooty Christmas Show, all of which will run from Friday November 17 until Monday January 1.

Cinderella on Ice

Presented by The Imperial Ice Stars, the show will be housed within the colourful Russian-inspired facade of The Winter Palace Theatre.

Combining “powerful storytelling” and “world-class ice skating”, the company have created a modern twist to the classic fairytale Cinderella.

Any Cinderella fans out there?

Taking to the ice will be 18 World, European and National Championship-level skaters, performing a series of high-speed throws, lifts and jump sequences.

With state-of-the-art projection and special effects such as rain, fire and flying, the show is dubbed as a “must-see this Christmas”.

Zippos Christmas Circus presents Lights, Camera, Action!

Family favourite Zippos Circus will be returning with their all-new daytime show this year.

Their ever-popular show is “guaranteed fun from start to finish” and boasts an array of the world's finest circus acts in the UK's biggest circus tent.

Spectators can expect breath-taking acrobatics, knockabout comedy and stunning illusions, which will “leave the whole family entertained”.

Joining the host of circus artists will be giant dancing snow bears, courtesy of Britain’s Got Talent finalist Vadik and the Bears.

Cirque Berserk – 'Rebellion'

Showcasing mind-blowing stunts and acrobatic agility, the new evening event will be set in a Blade Runner-style future.

Back by popular demand is the “world's most exhilarating circus act”, featuring motorcyclists speeding at over 60mph in a steel globe cage.

Accompanying this will be the Cuban Revolution troupe, extreme contortion from Juma and aerial straps.

On top of that, spectators can expect a mesmerizing motorbike high-wire act, robotics and an "unmissable finale that will stun audiences".

The Sooty Christmas Show

The show is back with a brand new variety performance, direct from CITV, and will show every day at 11am.

Joining the nation’s favourite bear will be Sweep, Soo and TV’s Richard Cadell as they try to stage their own Christmas talent spectacular but “as expected nothing quite goes to plan”.

A mix of magic, music and plenty of audience participation, The Sooty Christmas Show is “an unmissable festive giggle for Sooty fans old and new”.

Visitors to The Sooty Christmas Show will also be greeted by either a big Sooty or Sweep mascot every weekday from 10.30am prior to the sparkling new production.
