Halloween in Hillingdon and Uxbridge: spooky events to enjoy near you

Halloween is on the horizon, with the annual fright-fest taking place this year on Saturday October 31.

For those of you who love a scare, there are plenty of frightening events taking place all over Hillingdon and Uxbridge (or just a short journey away!) From parties to horror movie nights... And there's even some more gentle spooky goings on suitable for children.

Halloween pony experience

Come along to Oxhey Lane Farm in Pinner to enjoy some Halloween fun, including dressing your pony in a spooky costume!

Booking is essential, so reserve your place now and enjoy some brilliant frightful fun!

This event will take place on Thursday October 29, from 12pm to 3pm. Places cost £25 per child.

Spooky half term fun at Squire's Garden Centres

Enjoy spooky half-term fun at Squire's Garden Centres, with fun events such as painting a glow-in-the-dark skeleton, pumpkin pursuit and spooky spot the difference.

If you're looking for a way to keep your little monsters entertained this Halloween, "Create and Glow" sessions at Squires are the place to be... Fancy dress is welcomed!

This event will take place from Monday October 26 to Saturday October 31. Event costs range from free to £5.50.

Halloween Special

The Purple Theatre Company return to Southlands Arts Centre for their brilliant spooky Halloween shows, designed to be fun, scary and entertaining.

With two performances, one suitable for children, and one for grown-up scares, there's something for everyone at this fun event!

This event runs from Thursday October 29 to Saturday October 31. Tickets cost £8 for adults and £4 for children.

Halloween fun at London Designer Outlet

Kids of all ages are invited to get their spook on at London Designer Outlet, with Halloween-themed activities including fire juggling, face painting, storytelling and fortune telling. Little ones can also take a ride on the "ghost train" for just £2.

This event will take place on Friday October 30 and Saturday October 31 from 12pm to 4pm and is free to enter.

Halloween By Boat: Spooktacular!

Enjoy Halloween on the Elsdale Floating Classroom and take part in two brilliant half-term activities on a boat. "Spooktacular Pumpkins" involves carving your own pumpkin on the high seas. "Terrifying Halloween Party" involves dressing up, telling terrifying tales and making your own spooky spider.

This event takes place on Friday October 30. Tickets cost £6 for "spooktacular pumpkins" and £8 for "terrifying Halloween party", or £12 on the door for both sessions.

Halloween cookery workshop

Enjoy preparing food with your children at this freaky Halloween cookery workshop. From witches fingers to ghost cookies and with spooky activities, children of any age will love this fun workshop!

Halloween train rides

Visit Harrow and Wembley Miniature Railway to give your children a spooky treat! There will be a special ghost and ghouls theme at the railway, so come and take a ride on the ghost train in your best fancy dress.

NCT Hillingdon: Halloween Party

Come to NCT Hillingdon's Halloween party for a fun family day out.
