The 25th Ealing Beer Festival will kick off on Wednesday July 2 with four days of food, beer and music, writes Anand Patel .

Run by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale), the festival will be taking place in Walpole Park, off Mattock Lane, Ealing. It will be open from noon to 10.30pm every day except on its final day, Saturday July 5, when it will close at 6pm.

There will be more than 300 different cask beers on sale, foreign beers, wine and cider. Soft drinks will also be available.

Alongside the drink, Crusty Pies, the Real Meat & Sausage company, Powar Curry House, Hog Roast, Cheddar Deli, Merry Berry chocolates and Pipers Crisps will be there to provide food.

Revellers will be able to enjoy live music in the Aeronaut marquee with bands The Undercovers playing on Wednesday, Junkyard Dogs on Thursday and Midnight Rambler on Friday.

General admission is £4 with current CAMRA members getting a £2 discount. Tickets can only be purchased on the door.

Clothes and books will also be on sale and debit and credit cards can be used to buy these, visitors will need cash to buy everything else.

Children will be allowed in free and may only stay until 8pm for health and safety reasons. Dogs are permitted to stay in the marquee.

There will not be any World Cup or Wimbeldon matches shown.
