Four environmentalists have been accused of criminal damage after anti-pollution slogans were spray painted on Sadiq Khan's HQ.

Stuart Basden, 35, Ian Bray, 50, Roger Hallam, 51 and Genevieve Scherer, 71, denied the charges at Camberwell Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (November 7).

They were remanded in custody ahead of a pre-trial hearing later this month.

The alleged offences occurred at City Hall, in The Queen’s Walk, Southwark, on November 5.

The three men and one woman are due to appear back before magistrates at Camberwell Green on November 14.

City Hall is the headquarters of the Greater London Authority, which comprises the Mayor of London and the London Assembly.
