Are you a hopeless romantic?

Well you could be in luck.

The popular Channel 4 dating show First Dates is back and is looking for single people to appear in the new series.

Producers are also casting for the second series of spin-off show First Dates Hotel, which will see singletons whisked off to southern Italy for a blind dinner date.

If they hit it off, they can stay on at the hotel and go on a second date.

If sparks don't fly, they will be rematched for a second chance at finding love.

The original First Dates format sees singletons paired up with potential love matches over dinner at the Paternoster Chop House restaurant in St Pauls, hosted by charming maître d' Fred Sirieix.

The camera-shy need not apply, as everything from the awkward first greetings and backfired chat-up lines to the earliest flushes of love are captured on film for a prime time TV audience to watch.

At the end of every date, the couples talk candidly to camera about their encounter and answer the killer question – would they like to they see each other again?
