Festive markets, carol singing and giant illuminated flowers are among the attractions bringing a touch of Christmas cheer to Hounslow this winter.

A packed calendar of Christmas celebrations begins this Saturday (November 22), when Hounslow mayor Corinna Smart will switch on the winter lights outside Holy Trinity Church, in Hounslow High Street, ahead of a lantern parade and fire and dance show.

Events include the full launch of the new-look Hounslow market, which will have 24 stalls either side of Bell Road, at the west end of Hounslow High Street. There will also be Christmas markets in Brentford, including carol singing, and in Isleworth.
