Easter 2016: Easter egg hunts around west London your child can enjoy

West London will be visited by the Easter Bunny this March! Here are all of the fun egg hunting events you can get involved in

Take your children on one of these fun Easter egg hunts!

Easter is just around the corner, with the Spring celebration falling on Sunday March 27 this year.

The long bank holiday weekend begins on Good Friday (March 25), and Easter Monday (March 28) is the final day in the bank holiday festivities.

One of the best aspects of the Easter holidays - and the bit your children are probably most excited about - is the arrival of the Easter bunny, and the chance to collect loads of yummy chocolate.

Here are some great Easter egg hunts and events going on in west London your children will love.

Osterley Park and House

Friday March 25 to Monday March 28, 10am to 4pm daily.

Give the little ones something exciting to do this bank holiday weekend with a Georgian-themed Easter egg trail at Osterley Park - Cadbury eggs a plenty!

As well as the egg hunt, the venue will also be hosting Garden and Estate tours and a special Georgian Bunny Trail around the house.

Entry is £3 for the trail, as well as general admission.

Battersea Park Children's Zoo

Friday March 25 to Monday March 28.

Some of the animals at Battersea Park Children's Zoo will have brightly coloured Easter eggs in their enclosures over the Easter weekend! Grab a quiz sheet upon entry to help you find them, and then hand in your sheet for a prize.

Trail costs £1.50 plus entry fee.

London Wetland Centre

Friday March 25 to Sunday April 10.

The London Wetland Centre has lost some of its ducklings and needs your help to find them! Find all of the ducklings and win a prize; also on offer are Easter arts and crafts, and LEGO duck building!

Easter hunt costs £1 plus admission to the centre.

Ham House

Friday March 25 to Monday March 28, 10am to 5pm daily.

Gorgeous National Trust venue Ham House and Garden is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt with a brilliant trail in the house on the banks of the River Thames.

Enjoy the picturesque setting while your children have fun at art and story-telling workshops.

Tickets cost £3 per trail, as well as general admission into the Gardens.

CB United presents Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday March 26, 1pm to 6pm.

Enjoy a fun Easter Egg Hunt event in Feltham, complete with mystery prizes, a penalty shoot-out, Crossbar Challenge, fun games and food!

Kensington Roof Gardens

Monday March 28, from 10am.

Parents get a treat at this Easter egg hunt too, as Kensington Roof Gardens will be serving tea - and something a little stronger! - while the little ones find eggs hidden by the Easter bunny.

A barbecue and garden games will also be on hand to provide an unforgettable bank holiday.

Tickets are available from £3. Proceeds from each ticket will be donated to The Roof Garden’s chosen charity Starlight.

Kew Gardens

Saturday March 19 to Sunday April 10.

Follow the Lindt Gold Bunny for an Easter choc-full of family fun at Kew Gardens! A programme full of family-friendly Easter events and activities will be taking place during the holidays, including a yummy chocolate trail.

Easter festival entry is included with day admission to the Gardens.

Morden Hill Park
