The annual Ealing Half Marathon is back for another year, this year taking place on Sunday (September 27) from 9am.

The 13.1-mile course starts and finishes in Lammas Park, and takes in a single lap of central Ealing, Montpelier, Pitshanger, West Ealing, Hanwell and St Stephen's.

The weather can have a lot of impact on how well a runner performs; too hot and you risk getting dehydrated, too windy and more effort is required to run against it... Luckily, this year is set to be dry and mild.

A spokeswoman for the Met Office said: "It'll be fine!

"High pressure is in charge this weekend; for people getting there and warming up at 9am it might be a little chilly after the cool night, but it'll get warmer as the sun comes out, with highs of 18 to 19C.

"Sunday will be dry and bright, with light winds. It will get warmer for those who take a little longer to finish the race."

Good news for both runners and spectators!
