You've seen her playing gobby Cilla Battersby on Coronation Street, but now you can see actress Wendi Peters at Richmond Theatre when she stars in First World War musical Oh What a Lovely War.

She will be joined on stage by fellow soap stars Ian Reddington, known best known as Richard ‘Tricky Dicky’ Cole from Eastenders, and Christopher Villiers, who spent three years playing Grayson Sinclair in Emmerdale.

The latest production of the satirical musical opened to critical acclaim in February last year and is directed by Terry Johnson. It is making a comeback at Richmond due to popular demand more than 100 years since the outbreak of the war.

The musical is packed with classics including It’s a long way to Tipperary, Pack up your troubles and Keep the home fires burning.

Oh What a Lovely War runs from February 10-14 with matinee shows on Wednesday and Saturday.

Tickets range between £10 and £38.90 and are available on 0844 871 7651 or www.atgtickets.com/richmond
