What do Michael Barrymore, Bobby Davro, Britain's Got Talent finalist Steve Hewlett, and Piff the Magic Dragon have in common?
The answer is that they have all performed in Ealing 's monthly stage magic show Conjuring at the Court, which is now celebrating its 7th anniversary.
And to mark the occasion, a special show will be performed on Thursday June 30 featuring the very best performers in the magic and entertainment industry.
Line up
- Will Houstoun: A PhD in magic history, and Magic Circle Close Up Magician of the Year. He will be giving an unusual performance, with anecdotes about the history of magic.
- Marc Paul: One of the top mind-readers in the country.
- Jon Allen: A hilarious performer who fuses magic and comedy.
- Pete Wardell: The only person to have won both the Magic Circle Stage and Close Up Magician awards in the same year, a street-type act full of mystery and humour.
- Russell Levinson: Compere and co-producer of the show.
The show is held in the function room of the Drayton Court Hotel in west Ealing, the very pub where Ho Chi Minh worked as a young man.
