Chelsea
When: Saturday November 18
Tube: Sloane Square
There will be the chance to meet real reindeer and see Father Christmas turning on the lights. Entertainment will begin from 2pm across the area in Duke of York Square, Sloane Square and Pavilion Road and build up to the switch-on moment at 5pm in Sloane Square.
Oxford Street
When: Tuesday November 7 from 5pm
Tube: Oxford Circus
The NSPCC and Capital FM will be hosting the switch-on, with live performances from some of the UK's hottest artists - soon to be revealed.
There will be more than 750,000 giant baubles suspended above the shopping district in a spectacular display of light.
Regent Street
When: Thursday November 16
Tube: Oxford Circus/ Piccadilly Circus
The stunning showcase of over 300,000 twinkling LED lights will again light up the whole of W1, making this the biggest and most spectacular parade of Christmas lights in the capital.
Marylebone

Legendary actress Dame Barbara Windsor will bring some winter sparkle to Marylebone when she switches on the Christmas lights.
Carnaby Street
When: Thursday November 9 at 6pm
Tube: Oxford Circus
Carnaby's vibrant Christmas decorations are well known in London. There will be discounts, live music and free in-store activities to celebrate the switch-on, with the event running from 5pm to 9pm.
Bond Street
When: Tuesday November 7 from 5pm
Tube: Bond Street
There will be extra sparkle in Bond Street when the Christmas lights are switched on.
Covent Garden
