Brighton will come alive for the annual pride festival in the first weekend of August.
The Summer Of Love Festival takes place on Friday August 4 to Sunday August 5, where there will be a parade, music and great food all in celebration of the LGBT community.
The Pet Shop Boys will headline the festival in Preston Park on Saturday in their first Pride performance in 20 years.

When:
The Brighton and Hove Pride takes place from Friday August 4- Sunday August 6.
The Pride Festival and Community Parade will take place on the Saturday.
The Pride Village Party will take place on the Saturday and Sunday.

Parade
The Pride Community Parade will fill the streets of Brighton and Hove with spectacular show stopping sights as music, floats, bands, costumes and dancing combine to create a truly unique Pride experience.
This years parade starts at Hove Lawns at 11am on Saturday August 5 and travels through the city centre.

Pride Pleasure Gardens
The Old Steine and Victoria Gardens will be transformed into a unique Pride experience for three days and nights of cabaret, bands, live performances, food and drink, DJs and clubbing.
Music acts include S Club Party, DJ Sean Quinn and and Lucy Spraggan.
Pride Dog Show and Village Party
The Pride Community Day is a fun collection of events that takes place on Sunday July 30 in Preston Park.
Incorporating the Pride Dog Show, Sports Fun & Games, there are loads of activities for adults and children.

Road Closures
There will be a rolling road closure in place for roads starting at 9am on Saturday August 5, you can take a look at road closures here.
Roads will be reopened as the parade passed.
Most roads are expected to be reopened by 3.30pm with the exception of southbound Preston Road that remains closed until midnight.
