Grime megastar Stormzy shocked shopped at Westfield Shopping Centre by playing a surprise gig at the Shepherd’s Bush shopping centre.
He took to the stage for 30 minutes with MNEK and performed three tracks from his critically acclaimed Gang Signs & Prayer debut album.
The performance from the south London MC, who now lives in Chelsea , follows a run of pop-up gigs taking place around London in celebration of the album, released on Friday (February 24), and his recent BRIT Award nomination for Best Breakthrough Artist.
It is also the latest in a series of exclusive live music experiences from Westfield, following Lady Gaga’s hugely successful rooftop performance in a snow dome at Christmas.
Those lucky enough to see the performance of "Blinded By Your Grace Pt. 2 Feat. MNEK", "Big For Your Boots" and "Shut Up" the show took to Twitter soon after.
While those unfortunate to miss out also took to social media.
Westfield’s chief marketing officer, Myf Ryan, said: “With such an exciting voice in the London music scene, we are delighted to welcome Stormzy as he performs to his home crowd.
"The gig was a really intimate experience, and turned an everyday shopping trip into a truly special experience for those who were lucky enough to be part of it.”
