Fancy enjoying an alcoholic ice lolly in the sunshine by the River Thames ?

Yes, we thought as much!

POPS premium popsicles, creators of the world's first Champagne popsicle, has launched a pop-up summer bar at the Runnymede on Thames Hotel and Spa, just outside the M25 in Egham.

The four-star hotel is nestled on the banks of the River Thames, and has 180 bedrooms, two riverside restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool and landscaped gardens.

POPS will be available to enjoy at the hotel, whilst chilling out on a deckchair by the river, or whilst lapping up the river views on one of the hotel's electric-powered boats or in a hottug.

And if you are wondering what a hottug is, well it is basically a hot tub on water, so don't forget your swimming costume, and prepare to cruise down the river in 38°C water.

All those stepping aboard will be offered a luxurious Champagne popsicle to keep them cool on the trip, we reccommend having a taxi on order though, as these little lollies contain around 4% ABV.

And if Champagne is not to your taste, POPS also offer popsicle's in a range of different flavours from Watermelon Martini, to Frosé, and Bellini.

Of course, non-alcoholic pops are available too in Chilly Mango and Stawberry and Mint flavours.

The POPS bar will be at the hotel over the summer, until it begins to get chilly in mid-September.
