Oxford Street is the world's most famous shopping area and rightly so with two kilometres of retail on each side of the road.

Home to the biggest brands and unique stores in the country, Oxford Street is going big this Black Friday (November 24) with an almost endless list of deals.

The American shopping holiday is now a staple of the British pre-Christmas shopping calendar and a great opportunity to pick up bargains ahead of the holidays.

So in the world of mega-malls, what does Oxford Street have to offer this Black Friday?

Opening times for Black Friday

While some stores may vary, Oxford Street will be open for business on Black Friday from 8am to 10pm.

Over the weekend, you can shop until you drop from 9am to 9pm on Saturday and 11.30am to 6pm on Sunday.

The street is served by the following London Underground stations:

  • Tottenham Court Road (Northern, Central lines)

  • Bond Street (Jubilee and Central lines)
  • Marble Arch (Central line).

These bus routes also serve various parts of Oxford Street: numbers 3, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 23, 25, 53, 73, 88, 94, 98, 113, 137, 139 and 159.
