The UK Christmas Number One

Will be announced in

It is likely that The X Factor winner, Louisa Johnson , will be in the running for the title with her song Forever Young, as 2014 winner Ben Haenow clinched the title last year.

The charts are still dominated by Justin Bieber 's two top tracks, Love Yourself and Sorry. Adele 's Hello has dropped to number five, but could still rule the roost come Christmas Day.

Aurora 's cover of Oasis' Half The World Away (The John Lewis Christmas ad song) is a strong contender, as well as charity songs from Shirley Bassey and Blake , and the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir .

The Star Wars Theme Tune could win out, and glam-rockers The Darkness have released a Christmas tune, I Am Santa, which could prove a winner - albeit an unlikely one.

And in a shock surprise, rapper Stormzy is looking to become the first ever grime artist to land the UK singles number one spot with his single Shut Up, a huge landmark for the London-born genre. On Monday (December 14) the hashtag #ShutUpForXMasNo1 was trending in the UK.

As of 2pm on Tuesday (December 15), Forever Young by Louisa Johnson is number one, Love Yourself by Justin Bieber is number two and Shut Up by Stormzy is number three.
