Princess Nokia is heading to Electric Brixton for a headline show.

The New York rapper will perform on Friday November 10.

It marks one of two headline UK shows planned for this year, with the other in Liverpool as part of Music Week.

The rapper gained attention after the self-release of singles including Versace Hottie and YAYA as well as the release of her debut EP 1992.

Following the viral success of her tracks Princess Nokia aka Destiny Frasqueri signed with Rough Trade.

She has been noted for her commentary on womanhood, female sexuality and LGBTQ issues and has since collaborated with fellow QTPOC rapper Mykki Blanco.

She recently played at Glastonbury Festival and was selected by fellow rapper MIA to perform at her curated Meltdown Festival alongside Yung Lean.

The rapper has also recently featured in the Urban Outfitters and Champion collaboration.
