Fans of David Attenborough's Planet Earth will get to experience the show in a unique way in 2018.

The Royal Albert Hall will host the special screening alongside a live orchestra on Sunday, May 13.

With special footage being screened from the acclaimed series, which premiered in 2016, audiences will be brought closer together to the planet's animals, wildlife and landscapes.

Fans will get to see specially-selected moments from the BBC series

The event will feature breathtaking, specially-selected footage from the BAFTA winning BBC series, shown in HD on the big screen, as the BBC Concert Orchestra and singers, conducted by Jessica Cottis, play the remarkable music by Oscar winner Hans Zimmer.

Zimmer is best known for his work on films including Gladiator and Blade Runner 2049, he says: "Planet Earth II is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever been involved in.

"Some of the greatest action scenes ever put on film, some of the most emotional, epic, fragile scenes I've ever witnessed. Filmmaking at its absolute peak."
