Music lovers have been urged to show their support for the homeless at a charity gig in Hounslow on Saturday (July 16).
Brentford 's Musical Museum will host five bands for the Hounslow Hootenanny, being held in aid of The Shelter Project Hounslow.
Born of The Sun, a heavy blues rock trio from Ealing, were chosen to complete the line-up after numerous bands responded to an appeal by organisers.
The Shelter Project Hounslow provides refuge for homeless people at churches in the borough each winter.
The full line-up for the Hounslow Hootenanny is:
- The Blue Eyed Souls - soul and R&B, featuring up-and-coming vocalist Keely Marie Johnson
- Jam Junkies - blues and rock
- The Howdo - raw punk blues
- Trade Only - featuring acclaimed local guitarist Simon Bishop
- Born of The Sun - heavy blues rock
The Hounslow Hootenanny will take place at the Musical Museum, in High Street, Brentford (near Kew Bridge), from 7.30pm. Tickets priced £5 will be available on the door.
