Singer songwriter Laura Marling will play an intimate gig at HMV in Oxford Street on Tuesday March 7.

The one-off gig will preview her upcoming record "Semper Femina".

It will give fans the chance to hear her sixth studio album ahead of its release on March 10.

If you pre-order the CD from HMV here you will receive a unique entry code for one person to the live event in HMV.

In total there are 280 places at the gig however the shop's Twitter account has announced it's close to selling out.

This intimate show comes before she embarks on a 15-date UK tour throughout March, which was extended due to demand.

Marling will return to London for a show at the Roundhouse on March 21.

The folk singer has received critical acclaim since the release of her debut album in 2008

Since then she has achieved three Mercury Prize nominations and beat commercial favourites Cheryl Cole and Ellie Goulding to "Best British Female" at the BRITs in 2011.
