John Legend surprised fans with an impromptu performance at London's St Pancras today (March 29).

The singer songwriter played to a growing number of commuters who stopped by to watch Legend's mini set.

He teased fans earlier this morning (March 29) by tweeting to his 9.1 million followers: "Arriving at London @StPancrasInt on @EurostarUK. Do they still have that piano there?".

As well as performing "All of Me" he also played "Surefire" and "Ordinary People" to the onlookers at St Pancras on International Piano Day.

This impromptu gig gives fans a glimpse of what to expect when he returns to the UK later this year.

Legend recently announced details of a UK tour which includes a show at the O2 Arena in London on September 12.

He will perform nine shows across the country as part of his Darkness and Light Tour.

Tickets for shows are on sale this week and after his stunning surprise performance at St Pancras it's going to be a popular event.

There will be an O2 priority sale at 9am on Wednesday March 29 for O2 customers .

Meanwhile a Live Nation presale on Thursday March 30 at 9am for account holders, which is free to sign up to on the website.

They're are priced between £58.25 to £85.45, plus booking fees.

When do tickets go on general sale?

If you miss out or are unavailable to access the presale you can get tickets in the general release on Friday March 31 at 9am via Ticketmaster .
