A legend in the jazz world will air tracks from his new album when he appears at the Bulls Head pub.

Jim Mullen will be making a special appearance at the historic Barnes Bridge venue on Tuesday (11) alongside his Organ Trio.

Together they will perform a selection of tunes from their CD Catch My Drift.

Jim is hailed as one of the jazz guitar superstars of the time and one of the most sought after players of his generation.

Glasgow-born Jim not only co-founded one of the most famous jazz-funk outfits of all time, the legendary Morrissey/Mullen Band, he also played and recorded on both sides of the Atlantic with a host of top artists.

These include The Average White Band, Claire Martin, Elkie Brooks, Mose Allison, Jimmy Witherspoon, Jimmy Smith, Percy Sledge and Georgie Fame.

He recently appeared as part of the AllStars on the former Beatle Paul McCartney produced album All About The Music.

This is a rare opportunity to see and hear this great guitarist and his swinging combo featuring Mike Gorman, one of the UK’s leading pianists and drummer Matt Skelton.

Tickets £8 in advance through www.musicglue.com and £10 on the door.
