Looking for something to do this Friday July 8? Why not mosey yourself down to the Crown and Treaty pub on Oxford Road, Uxbridge , and attend the launch party for Pet Library's new EP, the elaborately titled 'The Corners Of My Eyes Hold The Most Vivid Visions'.

Pet Library are a loud, proud and stand out from the crowd three-piece indie dance outfit from Hertfordshire whose presence is hard to ignore.

Lightheartedly lyrical and punkish vocally speaking with enough rhythmic intricacies to keep the muso-nerds happy as well as guitar laden purity.

Drawstring from Kent also share the bill this Friday with their fine array of highly inventive indie/artpop gems in their arsenal awaiting deployment for your enjoyment. Pensive yet poignant and many a stop-start with pin drop silence within the gaps.

Where it matters, Uncle Jill are the thundering powerhouse of raw indie rock and roll that the doctor ordered.

With the volume and might of a 747 jet engine fine tuned to the key of "RAAAAAAAH" they have the capacity to de-wax your ears but that's not all, they can draw you into a gentle verse before once again blowing you away come chorus time.

It's free entry to The Crown and Treaty before 10pm and £5 after.

Be sure to tune into my interactive HayesFM radio show EVERY Tuesday at 9pm to hear live and original performers. PLUS more local live music news. You can find HayesFM on 91.8FM in London or GLOBAL online .
