Are you tired of not caring about who wins TV's karaoke show The Voice? Want to witness something that has originality and integrity?

Then get yourself down to the Crown and Treaty pub on Oxford Road, Uxbridge , this Friday April 1, where there will be at least two live bands that will never have to go through the patronisation mill of what WillIAM (not very talented), Boy George (not very current) and the other two think of them.

Four guys known as Rocheii offer an electro laden, indie pop guitar filled selection of interestingly arranged and expertly performed songs.

Plenty of progressive stops and starts centred around tremendously tight drumming with well expressed vocals flourished by perfect harmonies this is a band that'll render the harshest critics redundant.

Mancunian singer/songwriter Calvin Roche, from who the band take their name, has only been in London a year yet Rocheii are as crisp and rigid as though they'd been at it for decades.

Stealing Signs hailing from Essex also play The Treaty this Friday. Also a four piece and with a funky ska white soul vibe permeating through the strata of their sound you'll surely be moving your feet to their well thought out and groovy beats.

It's just £5 entry to the Crown and Treaty on Friday but if you get there before 10pm it's absolutely free.

Be sure to tune into my interactive HayesFM radio show EVERY Tuesday at 9pm to hear live and original performers. PLUS more local live music news. You can find HayesFM on 91.8FM in London or GLOBAL online .
