Evanescence have announced details of a UK tour alongside a live orchestra for the first time ever.

The US rock group will perform Synthesis Live at Royal Festival Hall on March 30 and 31.

It is part of a world tour which sees them perform tracks from the album of the same name.

The group are releasing "Synthesis" on November 10 which sees them work with producer William B. Hunt to rework the band's previous material.

So far only their worldwide number one single "Bring Me to Life" has been confirmed, but other fan favourite tracks are expected to be included.

Meanwhile the band have also recorded two new tracks for the project.

They will be heading to Manchester

, Nottingham, Glasgow and Sheffield on the live tour.

When do tickets go on sale?

General sale tickets will be released at 10am on Friday September 22.
