Thinking Out Loud singer Ed Sheeran is preparing to perform at Wembley Stadium for three nights to approximately 90,000 people each night.

Singer-songwriter Sheeran will also be filming a concert movie of his time in Wembley, which will be similar to that of Katy Perry and One Direction's.

The film will not only show concert footage, but will also look at behind-the-scenes action and pre-performance build up.

Here's all you need to know before heading to the concerts this week:

Dates & times

Sheeran is performing at Wembley on Friday (July 10), Saturday (July 11) and Sunday (July 12). Timings below are supplied by the official Wembley Stadium website:

  • 4.30pm: Doors Open
  • 6pm: First support act
  • 7.10pm: Second support act
  • 8.30pm: Ed Sheeran's performance
  • 10.30pm: Approximate finish time

Travel

By Tube/Train: Wembley Stadium is a short walk away from Wembley Stadium (Chiltern Railways), Wembley Park (Jubilee and Metropolitan Lines) and Wembley Central (Bakerloo and London Overground Lines) stations.

By Bus: Local buses to the stadium include 18, 83, 92 and 224.

By Bike: Bicycle parking for the stadium is available on street level (B2) in the north east corner of the Stadium (near the Green car park).

By Coach: Big Green Coach are offering an environmentally coach journey to Wembley; Tickets start at just £23 (plus fees) for a return coach and you can choose from 25 pick-up locations all over The UK. To book visit their official website.

Parking

It is recommended that any visitors wishing to drive to the stadium only use the official Wembley Stadium car parks; spaces can be reserved on the official website, which should be booked well in advance.

Parking is not allowed in the local residential streets around the stadium on event days unless you have a resident or business permit.

Disabled Visitors

Wembley Stadium has 310 wheelchair accessible spaces, including seats for personal assistants. Lifts and ramps are available to reach every seating area from levels one to five.

In addition, there are 147 accessible toilets within the Stadium.

Supporting Sheeran are: Foy Vance and One Republic on night one, Example and Rudimental on night two, and Passenger and One Republic on night three.
