Ed Sheeran is returning to the Royal Albert Hall for a special gig in support of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The singer-songwriter will headline the venue on Tuesday March 28 to help raise money for the charity.

Ed says: "It’s such an important cause and one that I’m extremely proud to be a part of."

The concert will take place just weeks before his UK tour kicks off in April, and comes to the O2 Arena for three sold out nights .

Ed is currently enjoying success with his two comeback singles "Castle on the Hill" and "Shape of You" which have topped charts around the globe.

He is also celebrating a triumphant Grammys performance and gearing up for another at the BRIT awards on February 22.

Plus Ed's third studio album ÷ (divide) is set to be released on March 3, following on from this first two successful albums which he showcased at three sold out nights at Wembley Stadium.

He joins previously announced performers The Who, Olly Murs, Pet Shop Boys and Paul Weller who will headline the venue on various dates across the same week.
