Dizzee Rascal has announced details of a huge UK headline tour including a London show.

The grime artist is performing at O2 Brixton Academy on Thursday October 12.

It is part of a 14-date tour which also includes dates in Brighton, Cambridge and Bristol.

His 2002 debut "Boy in da Corner" is considered a classic in the grime genre, paving the way for artists like Skepta and Stormzy.

It won the 2003 coveted Mercury Prize and confirmed Dizzee's role as one of grime's founding fathers.

The news of a tour comes alongside details of his sixth studio album "Raskit" due for release in July.

The artist is also playing at this year's V Festival as well as Glastonbury where he'll be headlining the West Holts stage.

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday June 23.

A presale will take place for O2 priority members on Wednesday June 21 at 9am.
