It must be the month of Christmas because the gifts just keep coming with a lunchtime swing session this Sunday (7) featuring Sara Spade and The Noisy Boys.

Prepare for vintage acoustic swing with a dash of high energy Retro-Pop, featuring the quintessential Ukulele Lady, Sara Spade.

One of those special talents that never fail to both please and surprise at the same time, Sara’s music evokes the vintage Swing of yesteryear, whether performing Jazz and Blues standards in her own inimitable style, or singing originals from her recently released album, Boy Next Door.

Headline spots on the Black Dahlia stage at Bestival, and this summer’s Marlborough Jazz Festival following sell-out concerts at The Stables, have made Sara simply irresistible.

Quotes from celebrity fans include: “I loved it. She has a fantastic voice” Jools Holland and “World class stuff” Gaz Birtles of The Beautiful South

The show is at 2.30pm. Tickets £8 in advance and £10 on the door.

She already wowed the audience on a visit back in May and now on Friday December 12 Zeeteah Massiah returns accompanied by The Disciples.

One of the best kept secrets in the Jazz firmament is now out: the sensational singer that is Zeeteah.

Think a fresh, modish new Shirley Bassey with a dash of Tina Turner and you will be on the way to getting this hot ticket of the jazz world.

After hitting No 1 in the US Billboard charts in the 90’s, and singing with a host of stars including Robbie Williams, Tom Jones, Phil Collins, Maxi Priest and Paul Weller, Zeeteah has reinvented herself.

She returns armed with a new sound and a great band featuring some of London’s finest jazz musicians comprising Rick Laughlin (keys) Karen Straw (trumpet/flugelhorn) Johnny Griffiths (tenor sax/flute) Arnulf Lindner (double/electric bass) and Sophie Alloway (drums).

With her strong, sensual vocals and electric stage presence, Zeeteah moves effortlessly through a well chosen repertoire covering jazz, blues, soul and a touch of reggae.

Many of the best songs are originals from her new release Juice: a freshly squeezed album of songs about love.

This is a wonderful chance to see this extraordinary singer in an intimate Jazz Room setting.

Fronted by the sassy vocals of Sugar T, aka Hazel Sim and band leader and trumpeter Ralph Lamb, the band’s collective performing, recording and television credits include Chaka Khan, Jamie Cullen, Michael Buble, Incognito and Matt Bianco among many others.

One of the best performance artists in the country, Reuben’s extraordinary voice and charismatic stage presence has made him a must see performer in today’s live music arena. Best known for his work with Reuben Richards and The Soul Train, one of the most celebrated bands on the International and UK circuits, the charismatic singer’s new venture, Reuben Richard’s Connection, is a new and exciting departure reflecting his very special talent. The much sought after vocalist, who over the years has appeared with artists such as Dr John, Steve Cropper, Ike Turner, Pee Wee Ellis and Otis Grand, will keep you guessing with his line-up choice which can be anything from a hugely atmospheric stripped down trio, to the more customary brass orientated six piece line-up.
