The Cure have announced details of their only UK show for 2018.

They will perform at Hyde Park as part of British Summer Time on Saturday July 7.

It is also part of the group's 40th anniversary celebrations, as it marks 40 years since the release of their debut track Killing an Arab.

Support will come from Interpol, Goldfrapp, Ride, Editors, Slowdive and The Twilight Sad, with more expected to be announced.

Since their debut the Sussex group have released 13 studio albums and sold 30 million records worldwide, as well as becoming influential in shaping the post-punk musical landscape.

Other acts headlining next year's British Summer Time include Michael Buble, Bruno Mars, Roger Waters and Eric Clapton.

When do they go on sale?

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday December 15.

How much are they?

Standard tickets are priced at £71.55, and go up to £218.95 for platinum tickets.
