Community Festival will come to Finsbury Park for the first time ever this summer.

Catfish and the Bottlemen will headline the event's biggest year to date.

The festival which takes place on July 1 is a one day celebration of the best new music.

Catfish and the Bottlemen garnered attention on the festival circuit ahead of the release of debut album "The Balcony", following it up with a number one record in 2016.

The group, ahead of their biggest headline slot to date tweeted that they are "very pleased" to be headlinining.

They will be joined by punk duo Slaves, The Wombats who are celebrating 10 years since the release of their debut album and alt-rock group Nothing But Thieves on the lineup.

The much buzzed about groups in 2017 The Hunna and Fickle Friends as well as Darlia and Red Faces complete the festival's lineup.

This festival announcement marks another huge music event for London this summer which also includes Lovebox featuring Frank Ocean , Field Day and Citadel headlined by Foals .

Finsbury Park is a regular host of Wireless and groups including Arctic Monkeys and Stone Roses.
