Busted will join Ed Sheeran at the Teenage Cancer Trust event in London.

Both artists will perform at the Royal Albert Hall on March 28 in support of the charity.

The band said: "It is a honour to be invited to perform at the Royal Albert Hall .

"We're thrilled to support such a fantastic charity whose work we have witnessed first hand, and to share the stage with the hugely talented man of the moment Ed Sheeran.

"It promises to be a memorable evening, we can't wait!"

The group, made up of Matt Willis, James Bourne and Charlie Simpson reformed in 2016 after splitting 11 years prior.

They released a new album "Night Driver" and played to sold out crowds across the UK and Ireland on a headline tour.

Fans can also expect to hear Busted's classic hits which made them pop superstars in the early noughties.

Meanwhile Ed Sheeran is currently celebrating record-breaking album streams on Spotify and selling 232,000 copies of new album ÷ (divide) on its first day of release.

The Teenage Cancer Trust gig marks Ed's second time headlining but some fans were disappointed last month when tickets were being re-sold on secondary tout sites for treble the price .

However the venue have confirmed that photo ID matching with the lead booker on the tickets is needed to gain entry to the gig.
