Alice Cooper has announced an arena tour for 2017, including a show at London's Wembley Arena .

The Shock Rock artist will return to the UK for his first tour in five years, stopping off in the capital on November 16.

Recently the 68-year-old performer supported Mötley Crüe on their final ever tour across North America, but now he will return to the stage as headliner.

He is widely considered to be an innovator of heavy metal and introducing horror imagery to the genre, influencing artists since his first release.

Cooper released his debut album in 1969 and has gone on to release 26 studio albums with a new release expected in the run up to the tour.

The Schools Out singer will be visiting a number of cities across the UK including Leeds, Birmingham and Manchester before finishing off the tour in London.

When do tickets go on sale?

A pre-sale begins on Thursday December 15 at 8am for previous Ticketmaster customers whilst the general sale starts at 9am on Friday December 16.

How much are tickets?

Tickets are priced between £46.50 to £55 , plus a booking fee.
