Akon announces a UK tour and here's how to get tickets

The star will give you a trip down memory lane playing his biggest hits

Akon has announced a six-date UK tour for this October.

He will perform at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on October 31.

Fans can expect to hear all the hits from star's 13 year back catalogue.

The US artist initially found fame in 2004 with his breakthrough hit "Locked Up".

He later achieved number one's with "Lonely" and Eminem collaboration "Smack That", other notable tracks include his features with Gwen Stefani and Snoop Dogg.

He will be supported by Konvict Kartel which includes Trey Carter, OG Boo Dirty, Tone Tone.

When do tickets go on sale?

They go on general sale at 2pm on Thursday August 3.

An O2 presale takes place on Wednesday August 2 at 2pm.

Tickets will be available from Ticketmaster here.

How much are tickets?

They're priced between £33.20 to £37.50.
