The legendary Batmobile and Batboat made famous in the 1960s kitsch Batman series has been spotted... in Hammersmith .

Tweets were posted on Thursday (July 27) morning showing the iconic vehicles being towed outside the Hammersmith Broadway Tube station and along the gyratory.

One tweet posted by @digital_karma (see photo above) read: “Just seen the original #batmobile at Hammersmith roundabout. Not even joking.”

After much head-scratching at discussion at getwestlondon , we reached the Bat-conclusion that the vehicles were being transported to the London Film & Comic Con taking place at the nearby Kensington Olympia from July 28 to July 30.

Adam West, who played Batman alongside Burt Ward’s Robin in the TV show , which ran from 1966 to 1968, died in June.

He also voiced the character Mayor Adam West in Family Guy.

Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery Tyrell in the hit HBO series, will be a guest at the event, which will run at Olympia in Hammersmith Road from Friday (July 28) to Sunday (July 30).

Finn Jones, who plays Margaery's brother, Loras Tyrell will also be a guest during the weekend alongside more cast members.

Other GoT cast in attendance includes Conleth Hill (Varys), Pilou Asbaek (Euron Greyjoy), Kristian Nairn (Hodor), Jessica Henwick (Nymeria Sand), Julian Glover (Grand Maester Pycelle) and Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy).
